“I met with John today.”
“How did it go?”
Kenny let out a deep breath like he’d been holding it in all day. His lips were dry, and the nervousness coated his voice. “Not as well as I had hoped.”
He had her attention now. “What does that mean?”
Sometimes, the evidence of God’s power is not always easy to see in the lives of those who choose to follow Him.
Many people who are struggling or in pain ask questions such as,
“Why do we suffer so much in life?”
“What does God want me to do when I’m suffering?”
“Does God care about my pain?"
If we’re going to suffer despite committing our lives to God, shouldn’t He bless us in return?
“Yeah, man, I’ll be there,” Tim said. His stomach tightened. “Yeah, I promise. I said I’d be there and I will be.”
Tim had just promised to meet Derek at one of their old hangouts. Tim hadn’t been going out to the bars for a while now, but Derek had been begging him to get together. The two friends had always enjoyed a couple of laughs and a few drinks.
And sometimes, a lot of drinks.

This is a four-step process that will help you overcome problems in life and stay strong emotionally and spiritually.
Our circumstances often dictate how happy we are. If work is going well, we’re happy. If our spouse is happy, we’re happy. If everyone in our family is healthy, we’re happy.
But it’s unlikely everything in life will be going well. Life is plagued by one problem after the next. Sometimes, we’re bombarded from all directions. It’s as if there’s an ambush waiting around every corner.
What happens when life turns against you? Do you get frustrated? Do you get anxious or depressed? Do you get angry with God?
Do you wonder if there’s anything you can do?
Well, there is. Here’s a 4-Step process that can help you stand strong in the face of adversity.
